Iranian media reported that Iranian forces have taken extraordinary measures to maximize their operational readiness in light of closely and continuously monitoring enemy movements in the region. According to the report, the latest version of the F3-R standard allows for the integration of the Meteor missile, developed by the European company MBDA. Cairo currently relies heavily on MICA air-to-air missiles for its French-made fighter jets. The Meteor is classified as a long-range, beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile. It features a ramjet engine providing thrust until it hits the target, an active radar seeker, and a data link that allows for in-flight updating of target information.
These features allow the fighter jet to launch the missile at a distant aerial target without visually observing it. According to the manufacturer, the missile continues to receive updated data about the target throughout its flight until it hits the target.
The German report notes that this capability fills a gap in the armament of Egypt's F-16s, as Cairo has not received approval from the US to equip its F-16s with long-range, radar-guided AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles.
As a significant development, the report notes that the US recently agreed to supply Egypt with AIM-120 missiles as part of the NASAMS ground air defense system, but not to equip the F-16s. This means that restrictions on the use of the American missile by Egyptian fighter jets remain in place.

The Libyan Presidential Council announced preliminary findings from investigations conducted by relevant institutions into a terrorist cell that targeted vital civilian facilities in the capital Tripoli and the city of Zawiya. The Council revealed damage to fuel depots and power plants as part of a plan aimed at inflicting direct material damage to civilian infrastructure and endangering civilian lives. In a statement released on Saturday, the Council stated that various security units and the National Security Authority successfully thwarted the operations and prevented the losses and dangers targeted by the terrorist cell. The Council noted that, according to the legal assessment of the competent Libyan authorities, the nature and circumstances of the crimes constitute crimes against humanity as part of a widespread or systematic attack, and therefore fall within the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court. The Council also noted that, in addition to foreign elements involved in these crimes, there were also Libyans holding citizenship of states party to the Rome Statute as well as citizens of other countries.
The State of Libya, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and in coordination with the Ministry of Defence, has formally requested the Prosecutor General of the International Criminal Court, pursuant to Article 12/3 of the Rome Statute, to provide technical, technological and legal support to the competent Libyan authorities, to enhance cooperation in ongoing investigations, to uncover the circumstances of crimes and to prosecute those responsible.

The “Global Resolve Flotilla“ described its campaign as a peaceful movement aimed at protesting the siege imposed on Gaza and the famine and destruction of civilian infrastructure in the strip.
Last year, ships belonging to the flotilla were attacked by two drones while in the port of Sidi Bou Said. Israel subsequently stopped the ships while en route to Gaza, seized their vessels, detained participants, and then deported them.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that new conditions have been proposed for an agreement between Iran and the US, and expressed hope that both sides would accept them.
In an interview with NTV television on Saturday, Fidan said, “Negotiations between the US and Iran have stalled in recent months. As a result, we are not only witnessing mutual attacks, but also the issue of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in Yemen. We see that both sides are taking actions that are expanding the crisis towards Saudi Arabia, and the situation is becoming more complicated every day.”

He said: “These statements are a desperate attempt by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He is trying to create the impression that he has no other option and is doing this to strengthen his political position within Israel on the eve of next month’s elections.”

Sandrina Desamure, a representative for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR, speaking via video link from Djibouti to journalists in Geneva, stated that around 3,000 people had crossed the Gulf of Aden and reached Djibouti in less than a week, and that the escalating violence was causing more families to flee.
Desamure added that the Djiboutian government was preparing to accept up to 10,000 refugees, which could further strain the country's health and education services.
The International Organization for Migration IOM stated that those fleeing arrived in overcrowded boats with very limited food and water. The statement noted that most of the arrivals were Yemeni families seeking asylum in Djibouti, with a small number of migrants, mostly Ethiopian, also arriving.
